The Bachelor of Arts in Communications program will provide you with outstanding instruction and diverse opportunities where you can master your creative talents. You will grow both spiritually and professionally as you combine your rich Bible and theology training with your communication and media skills.
Courses are offered in the following areas of communications:
Writing, publishing, and journalism
Speech and performance
Video production
Radio and audio production
Organizational communications and media strategies

Moody’s one-of-a-kind Worship and Media Arts Program equips students in theology, music, and media arts.
Our curriculum provides training in all of the following:

Songwriting
Music Technology
Worship Planning
Ministry Leadership
You will also develop your musicianship through the following:
Applied Lessons
Ensemble Membership and Tours
Annual Concerts and Events, such as Candlelight Carols and Founder’s Week
Worship-leading Opportunities
Recitals and Internships
In our innovative media labs, you will also develop one or more of the following communications skills:
Writing

With Moody’s one-of-a-kind Certificate in Worship Leading, your proficiency will grow in music, music technology, and worship leading. You’ll also take foundational classes in Bible study and church doctrine. Gain valuable knowledge and skills that you can apply immediately in your church or ministry setting!
This certificate can be completed on our Chicago campus or online!
